Happy Birthday Uncle Drew!!

It's Uncle Drew's 30th birthday!!! We (sort of) share a birthday 'cuz I'm 11 months old today! Yippee! Mom said that I am finally getting close to being done with these silly signs.

Mom and Dad went to Jamaica...

...and all I got was this silly hat and some Maracas. The Maracas were a LOT of fun and I banged them on EVERYTHING. Don't know what happened to them though. I found a way to get one of the balls off and ever since they have been missing. I heard mom mumbling something about safety. I'm trying to figure that word out. It seems to come up a lot with the word "No."

They said that they missed me a lot but from the pictures it looks like they had fun without me. Next time I told them that I get to go along.

Weekend with Grandma Laarman

Mom and Dad went to Jamaica and Grandma Laarman came all the way here to stay with me! Grandpa Laarman came for a few days and we all went to the zoo. We had fun! From the pictures it sort of looks like I tried to get into a little trouble, but I was good... I promise. ;)

EASTER!!!

After Church on Easter we went to my cousin Caroline's house for dinner with my friend Klaus and Kate and all their parents. We had fun. We had an Easter Egg hunt but I was too busy watching them run around that I only grabed one egg. Then Caroline and Klaus played Croquet! Next year I am definately joining in on this! It looked similar to Daddy's golf game that he plays. My newest friend Kate slept a lot. Mommy said that I used to do this when I was little. She's pretty cute.

Spring time means...

Daddy said that spring time means golf time. I am pretty excited for this. Daddy's golf toys look SO MUCH FUN! Hopefully he lets me practice with him this summer. :)

Spaghetti fun

Wow. I have had spaghetti a time or 2 but today mom just put some on my plate and let me eat it myself. This was fun! She said that next time we will eat this meal outside. :)

Mommy's been pretty excited lately about basketball. Usually this is Daddy's "thing" but from what they are saying... Mom's team BEAT Dad's team last week and so I get to go to Michigan State when I grow up!!! YIPPEE! I guess the BIG game is on Monday for the championship but Mom says that I won't get to stay up to watch it like I did last night. Daddy keeps reminding Mommy that KU won it all last year. I think that having me has been good luck to their schools... I'll have my shirt on again tomorrow for good luck! GO MSU!

Playin' at the park

We went to the park!! It was SO much fun! There were a lot of big kids to watch and I liked that the most. Most of the toys were too big for me and I didn't want to venture away from Mommy... but then I found these metal blocks to climb on! I can't wait to go back!!

Helping in the kitchen

Mommy has been letting me help her get things out of the cupboards for a week or so now but today the doors were harder to open on some of them! I can't figure out why! I can see things that Mom might need inside, but I can't seem to get to them! Don't worry Mommy, I'm sure I will figure this out soon and get back to helping you!

I'm 10 months old!

Sorry it has been a while! I have been occupying all of Mommy and Daddy's free time and I REALLY don't like it if Mom doesn't let me help when she is on the computer. I have found all sorts of new things to play with lately! I have a new game that I play with Mommy too. I keep trying to do new things to see what will make mommy run towards me. She is always yelling this new word "NO." I don't know what that means but it sure does make me laugh! I LOVE this game!
